Companies House ID verification.

Mandatory identity verification is now a legal requirement for directors, PSCs and LLP members. As a registered Authorised Corporate Service Provider, we make the process simple, secure and stress-free.

Who must verify their identity?

Under the Economic Crime and Corporate Transparency Act 2023, identity verification is now mandatory for company directors, Persons with Significant Control (PSCs), and LLP members – regardless of nationality or residency.

It is a criminal offence for a director or PSC to act without having verified their identity when required to do so. This applies to UK residents and non-UK residents alike.

How we help, as your ACSP

We are registered as an Authorised Corporate Service Provider, which means we can verify your identity on your behalf – instead of relying on the GOV.UK One Login app.

01Documents

You provide approved ID

A passport, driving licence, and proof of address if needed.

02Checks

We run the AML-compliant checks

Carried out to Companies House standards.

03Confirm

We confirm your identity

Using the official "Tell Companies House" service.

04Linked

Your personal code is linked

To every current and future directorship or PSC role – verify once, use it always.

Common pitfalls we help you avoid

Name mismatches

A different name on the register vs. your ID can fail the link – we check and correct this first.

Multiple roles, multiple deadlines

Different deadlines can apply across companies – we track every one.

Digital difficulties

Using our ACSP service bypasses the GOV.UK One Login app entirely.
